Cameron, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, 2024

This is Cameron's most widely available Pinot Noir and one of Oregon's reliable values, built largely from a block of vines planted in 1984 at Abbey Ridge, one of the oldest and best sites in the Willamette Valley. John Paul dry-farms (a founding member of the Deep Roots Coalition, he doesn't irrigate), ferments with native yeasts, and ages nearly two years in a mix of new and neutral French oak before bottling unfiltered. Compared to his Dundee Hills cuvee, this Willamette Valley bottling is the brighter, more aromatic, more immediately drinkable of the two. Honest, old-school Oregon Pinot that overdelivers.
