Les Petits Lieux, Bourgogne Chardonnay, 2023

Les Petits Lieux, Bourgogne Chardonnay, 2023

Les Petits Lieux is the new project of Guillaume Rouget, great-nephew of legendary winemaker Henri Jayer, and oenologist Laure Guilloteau. Guillaume has been making wine at Domaine Emmanuel Rouget since 2009. The 2023 is their debut vintage, made in Henri Jayer's historic cellar in Vosne-Romanée using restored original equipment. This is a négociant project with purchased grapes. The white wines follow the same meticulous approach as the reds—crafted with the precision expected from the Jayer lineage. A Bourgogne Blanc made with serious intent. Serve with roasted chicken, fish in cream sauce, or mild cheeses.
